Bismarck, Thank you so much for reaching out. The best way to get our prices is fill out the “Get a Quote” form. The yellow button at the top of the website is the easiest way to get there, or use this link: https://www.efulfillmentservice.com/get-a-quote/ When you fill out the form, you give our team all the information they need and it puts you into our official queue. It’s our weekend just now, and our team will have a lot of requests to process on Monday, so give them a full business day to email you back. And keep an eye on your Junk folder, sometimes our pricing emails go into Junk boxes. Thanks again for getting in touch.

I have a cookie distribution company in the US and I m looking for a 3PL company that can directly get packaged cookies (FMCG) shipped from Europe to the 3PL warehouse.
We will then work off of orders both B2C through our website and B2B.
Is this something you handle?
I am particularly confused about the customs treatment and transport into your warehouse.
Please advise.

We would be delighted to learn more about your special kitting project, especially if it can be a service we’d offer you in addition to storing inventory, prepping inventory to be shipped to Amazon (FBA Prep), and packing and shipping orders to ecommerce customers ordering directly from your website (non-Amazon orders). To get a conversation started, please fill out the Get A Free Quote Form, https://www.efulfillmentservice.com/get-a-quote/. That will give our team all the information they need to answer your questions, and also put you in our official queue.

Chris, If you have a physical presence within a state, whether it is an office, storefront or warehouse, it generally creates a “nexus” or permanent establishment for your business in that state, which means you are required to collect sales taxes from customers in that state. Beginning October 1, 2015, Michigan will join other states in adopting this definition of nexus, meaning that, by stocking goods in our warehouse, our clients will be required to collect sales tax from Michigan customers. Online sellers typically have sales tax collection managed by their shopping cart software. We do integrate with many technologies, and you can see that list of technologies here: https://www.efulfillmentservice.com/integration-with-your-cart/

I am a Hong Kong D2C online site. We receive orders from the US and like to deliver the item faster by warehousing the items in US. How is sales tax handled in this situation? Traditionally, since we ship directly from Hong Kong, we do not collect sales tax. Will this change if the order is shipped out of your warehouse? How do we communicate the order to you for you to pick and ship?

Ashwin, can you tell us more about why you’re asking and what you’re going to do with the size of the ecommerce industry? Is this a white paper or article where you’d quote one of lite prepcenter expert executives on the internet retailing distribution industry? We have been fulfilling online orders for 20 years, and our company was purpose built to handle direct-to-consumer orders for our more than 700 clients. The process requires integrated technology with 40+ marketplaces and shopping carts, as well as integrating with carriers like DHL, FedEx, U.S. Postal Service and more. Plus, a skilled fulfillment center like us preps orders for Amazon’s fulfillment service, Fulfillment By Amazon (FBA)—that service is known as FBA Prep. We’d be happy to help you understand more about the fulfillment industry for ecommerce. May I suggest that you email us at social@Lite PrepCenterService.com. Let us know where your content will be posted, what your deadline is, and if you need additional materials like photos of our fulfillment experts.

Do you have any ballpark of how many 3PLs and Courier companies are there in the US?
